Military Veteran • Business Owner • Problem Solver

Hey there! I'm Raul, a military veteran and entrepreneur with experience across operations, sales, and hands-on work. I've served in the U.S. Army, run my own service business for 7 years, and delivered results in both technical and creative fields. Whether it's learning a new skill, improving a process, or getting things done, I show up ready to work hard and figure it out. Currently exploring opportunities in the electrical trades and critical infrastructure. Thank you for visiting my site! As a gift, drag the paint can to create a unique piece of art.

WHO I AM

I'm at a turning point in my life and I'm choosing my next path deliberately. After seven years of building Yori Dog Walking into a #1 Yelp-rated business, I'm transitioning into the electrical trades. My business didn't fail, it succeeded to the point where I outgrew the ceiling. I'm thinking 20 years ahead. While others are looking for a job, I'm looking at the 2026 landscape: AI data centers, EV infrastructure, and a massive shortage of skilled labor. The math is simple and the timing is perfect. I'm 35, a U.S. Army Infantry veteran, and a new father as of December 2025. I bring more than just a desire to learn; I bring a decade of discipline, operations management, and a "mission-first" work ethic. I'm not looking for a hand out but I am looking for the right team where my experience and reliability will make an immediate & professional impact.

Making & Fabrication: The Death of Barriers

If I can imagine it, I can build it.

We have entered an era where the barriers to creating a product have effectively vanished. In the past, prototyping required massive capital, factory minimums, and logistical nightmares. Today, I use FDM and Resin printers, CNC tools, and AI-assisted design to bridge the gap between a "good idea" and a physical object in hours.

The Maker Philosophy:

Low-Stakes Innovation: I solve problems by making what I need—from custom cable organizers to specialized tools—rather than buying them.

The AI Multiplier: With AI, the need for formal design skills is shrinking; soon, natural language and our own imaginations will be the only limits to what we can create.

Understanding the Machine: 3D printing taught me that you can't just "hit print" and expect perfection; you have to master the materials and the settings—a mindset I carry to every job site.

Infantry Brotherhood: The Foundation

11 Bravo: Earned, Not Given.

I don't talk about my time in the Army to live in the past; I talk about it because it is the bedrock of my character. As a young man in the Infantry (2008-2014), I learned that "standard" isn't a suggestion—it's the baseline.

The discipline, physical toughness, and team-first mentality forged while earning the blue cord carry through every challenge I face today. It's the reason I don't cut corners and why I am comfortable being the first person on the job site and the last one to leave. This foundation gave me the starting point I needed to build my life as a business owner and now, a tradesman.

Technology & Innovation: The Ownership Layer

Read. Write. Own.

I am fascinated by the next evolution of the internet. While the previous eras focused on static information and centralized social platforms, we are now entering the "Own" layer. This is the first time in history we can actually possess true sovereignty and ownership on the web.

I'm not just interested in the hype; I'm interested in how digital communities and decentralized tech are reshaping collaboration and value exchange. To me, Web3 represents the same energy as the early iPhone jailbreaking days—the sense of building something transformative before the mainstream fully understands it.

Digital Communities: Finding the Tribe

More Than Just JPEGs.

When I talk to "normie" friends about Web3, they often don't see the depth but I've found my tribe in the Bored Ape Yacht Club and other digital communities. These aren't just internet avatars; they are real world connections that have resulted in genuine, high-level friendships.

A Global Network:

IRL Connections: From ApeFest Lisbon to ApeFest Vegas, I've traveled the world to meet the builders and creators in this space.

Community Values: These groups have taught me the power of a strong "tribe". The type of people who ask about your family and support your growth.

Collaborative Spirit: Being part of a global community reinforces the importance of working toward a shared goal which is a skill that is vital on any high-performance electrical team.
